$1 netbook, What Is the World Coming To?

While surfing the net i saw that Sprint Nextel is collaborating with Bestbuy and begin selling a 99-cent netbook with a two year contract. Sprint's price is below all the other competition with AT&T and Verizon selling their netbooks at 200$ and 400$. Even though it is a very good deal i fear that Sprint has made the price so low that if it were to sell the netbook it would lose money from the manufacturing cost.
